TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

f Unitwill not start.

f Battery packwill not charge.

f Unit shuts off abruptly.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

f Battery pack not installed properly

f Battery pack not charged.

f Battery pack not inserted into

charger.

f Charger not plugged in.

f Surrounding air temperature too

hot or too cold.

f Battery pack has reached its

maximumthermal limit.

f Out of charge. (To maximize the

life of the battery pack it is

designed to shut off abruptly

when the charge is depleted.)

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

f Check battery pack installation.

f Check battery pack charging

requirements.

f Insert battery pack into charger

until green LED appears.

f Plug charger into aworking

outlet. Refer to “Important

ChargingNotes” formore details.

f Move charger and battery pack to

a surrounding air temperature

of above 40 degreesF(4.5°C) or

below 105 degreesF(+40.5°C).

f Allowbattery pack to cool down.

f Place on charger and allow

to charge.
