Puller is used to remove a truck input shaft’s entire bearing retainer assembly.

Three heavy-duty adjustable jaws (No. J4230RJ) grip assembly behind the

front bearing cap while the 10 ton forcing screw bears down on the input

shaft. A step plate adapter, No J4040-2, is placed between the forcing screw

tip and the input shaft to prevent damage to shaft and screw tip.
