Backbone

Backbone:

A power network is the most suitable

concept for distributed devices in the

field that are to be connected to a

power supply for both power and 24

volts. The use of relevant infrastruc-

ture components, such as T-distribu-

tors, enables the construction of a uni-

versal power backbone. The backbone

distributes power to the devices. As

in communication networks, power

networks offer high topological flexi-

bility. This flexibility is achieved with

HARTING network components that

enable distribution from the back-

bone. Consequently, the installation

can be adapted to the application re-

quirements.
